Music Pals YAK Young Adults Hour of Power Small Group Woman's Bible StudyBrighton Baptist has an many different groups running throughout the week. There are groups focused on a range of ministries including music, prayer and support, as well as community outreach groups in the areas of youth and social events. Music Group

The music team at Brighton Baptist practises every Thursday evening at the church from 7:45pm until 9:00pm. We currently have a core group of 11 musicians and vocalists who rejoice each week in giving their hearts, hands and voices in worship to God. An open invitation is there for anyone to join us at practices on Thursday either to participate or just to listen and enjoy the time we share together. |
Pals [Prayer and Ladies Support]
| As the name suggests, those of us who meet soon become Pals if we weren't already. We meet for prayer and support - support being talking, caring, and offering advice from joint Christian experiences with regard to worldly issues which affect us and our families. We welcome everyone to come and join us as we uphold not only the members of our group but the whole fellowship of the Brighton Baptist church and its impact within the Bayside area. |

YAK [Secondary Youth Group]

YAK consists of a weekly program on Friday nights during the school term, involving a combination of both 'home' and 'away' activities. Home based events in the past have ranged from such activities as games and trivia nights to jewellery making, cake decorating, indoor team sports or recording your own jam session. Acivities outside the church have been equally diverse, with evenings spent in a bowling alley or ice-skating rink, chilling out at a cafe, browsing a Christian bookstore, or at a Youth Alive concert. Young Adults' Discussion Group
| The Young Adults' study group is held every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm. The group is aimed at young people aged 18+ with an interest in Christianity in today's society. Come along and join us for spirited discussion followed by supper. |

The Hour of Power is held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm for a time of prayer and support for current issues around the world and closer to home. |
Small Group Bible Study
| Small Group Bible Studies are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 2:00pm, followed by afternoon tea. We take part in discussions of biblical texts as well as sharing our own testimonies. Our studies have challenged our attitudes from past experiences and continually result in a closer walk with Jesus. |
