MARRIAGE COURSE

What is the Marriage Course?

The Marriage Course was developed in 1996 by Nicky and Sila Lee for couples looking for practical support to strengthen their relationship. Over seven sessions, the course will help you to understand each other’s needs; communicate more effectively; grow closer by learning methods to resolve conflict; recover from the ways you may have hurt each other; recognise how your upbringing affects your relationship; improve relationships with parents and in-laws; develop greater sexual intimacy; discover each other’s "love language"; and much, much more...

Who's it for?

The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples do the course to invest in their relationship, others need more urgent help. Either way, the course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong. The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles, but designed for all couples with or without a church background.

What are people saying about it?

"As a non churchgoer it didn’t put me off at all...I felt very comfortable."
"The Marriage Course revolutionised our relationship"
"We have built greater trust, intimacy, respect & passion"
"It has increased our ability to understand each other"

NEXT COURSE STARTS 15 AUGUST 2017 at Brighton Baptist.

ALPHA COURSE

What is Alpha?

Ever wanted to explore the meaning of life, or ask challenging questions about life or the Christian faith? Maybe you're just curious about this church stuff? Alpha doesn't care about your background, it welcomes all those big questions.

On Alpha, we think life is worth exploring. Alpha is fun, relaxed, and totally non-pressured.

Who's it for?

Never been to church? Not sure what you believe? Gave up on church a long time ago? Want to renew your faith? Then Alpha is for you.

Alpha is for anyone who is curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

How does it work?

Alpha is ten sessions with the option of a day away in the middle. Each session includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end in small Groups where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

Starts Tuesday 18th April, 2017 at Brighton Baptist.
